I got a table at Owl con. Gonna run Fiasco and Dungeon World. If you look at the list of games, it’s deep on D&D 5E and Pathfinder. Funny how no one else is running DW…

Owl Con is pretty traditional because Houston is a pretty traditional city when it comes to RPGs. The Gauntlet has always been its own thing in the city. We have never had a presence at Owl Con, despite the fact we’re the biggest RPG club outside the Pathfinder groups.

Jason Cordova Yes! What Christopher Meid said. And have part of it online, like VirtuaCon. VirtuaCon was awesome!

When I think of a game convention, I think of a space where people from all over the world can come to celebrate their hobby, participate in scheduled games, and engage in discussions. Part of me feels like The Gauntlet is already this, all the time. I used to refer to it as “the convention that never ends.” Having said that, I do like the idea of some sort of physical space in which to gather every now and then.

I’ve been going to OwlCon for 8-10 years off and on, and I’ve found some great games that are off the beaten path there: shab al hiri roach, Dark Ages Fae, Apocalypse World, Call of Catthulhu.
I can’t see the DW game on the schedule yet, can you let us know the expected day and time?
Even at big cons like GenCon, there are very few indie games like DW run. They tend to be off schedule or in the Games On Demand area.
