Ok so I’m probably late to the game with this one but the welcome to night vale podcast is giving me so much life right now. It’s like listening to community radio from one of our monster of the week games. I can stop binging on it. If you haven’t already please do yourself a favor and check it out.

I just found this myself when they were featured on the Colbert show as a guest. After seeing all the episodes I saw how late I was to this party. It certainly is a ton of fun to listen to and there is a lot of content for newcomers.

A fair warning to you both: the joke gets really old if you don’t space them out a bit. If you binge on, like, ten in a row, you’re going to get so sick of it. Space them out, though, and they’re pretty great.

I mainlined the first 30 or so but now I’m so behind… It’s also super soothing for getting babies to sleep.

I agree with Jason Cordova . I listened to something like 10 episodes one after another while driving alone. I’ve only listened to a couple since.

It’s definitely a “once in a while” podcast, though some episodes are good to listen to in a rush. The novel isn’t bad either. And the live shows have both been excellent.
