I need a logo for a new podcast project.

I need a logo for a new podcast project. I can pay a commission. Something that kind of echoes the Dungeon World cover art would be great. I had in mind an adventurer looking around in the dark with a torch, perhaps reading the name of the podcast carved on a stone wall. Something with a distinctly old-school vibe. Feel free to share this with any artists you might know, and have them get in touch with me via Hangouts chat.

  1. Jesse Coombs It will be about Dungeon World, but the use of OSR supplements will almost certainly come up from time to time. Yes, if you know someone who might be a good fit (and who won’t be unreasonable in terms of price) that would be great.

  3. I was really hoping this is what you were alluding too. With your experience level in this subject I can’t wait to listen to any advice, tips, war stories, etc. you have.

  5. I may, I’m not sure. I was just going to post this to my feed to boost the signal just in case I know some artists you don’t. I have no idea what people charge for work right now.

  7. Ray Otus Yeah, we’ve come up with a pretty cool concept for it. It would be called Discern Realities: A DW Podcast. It would be a short weekly podcast (less than 30 minutes) in which each segment is titled after questions from the DR move. So, for example, “What Should I Be On the Lookout For?” might be a segment about a new DW-related product, and “What Happened Here Recently?” could be discussing a mechanical situation we had in a recent game. “Who is really in control here?” would always be the closing notes about The Gauntlet, our community page, etc..

  9. That’s a solid concept. I am especially fond of the 30 minute thing; there’s not enough short casts out there! It will also help you avoid burnout and preserve content for the long haul. I don’t know if this is what you had in mind, but I am eager to hear discussions around specific topics like the Druid’s shapeshifting move, the Ranger companion, settlement/site generation (anyone use it?), fronts, etc. I feel like each one of these moves/rules is a natural and well-defined topic.
