Here’s a game with one of the coolest settings I’ve seen in a while, but then I’m a huge sucker for cyberpunk. Add AW to the mix and it’s an instant back for me. Comes with beta rules too, so expect this one to hit the calendar soon.

I backed this one as well. Sounds like it could be interesting.

Seconded. I’m tempted to spring for a book, but not a fan of the artwork so far.
Love the scenarios they put up, they all sound appropriately dystopian, and I like that they’re not US based

I think I have this one set for remind me.

Ferrell Riley I’m not a fan of the artwork either. The game itself sounds really cool, so I’ll probably back it, but I can’t help but feel the chosen art style is a bit of a missed opportunity.

Yea. I’m biased but my cyberpunk needs more shadows and chrome tyvm

My dilemma is this….13 bucks for PDF and all stretch goals no problem. Then they really get you with the tokens…the full color book….probably not gonna spend fifty or sixty five bucks though.

Ferrell Riley My cyberpunk needs more shadows and running. Also orcs.

If I can’t be an Orc Decker with a neon Mohawk then what’s the point?

parrish warren A $50 or $60 ‘premium’ pledge level sounds about right. Need I remind anyone of Undying’s $108 for hardback plus lozenges?

Hi all, great to see some interest in my game. Regarding a few comments, tier prices are in Canadian which causes a bit more of a per tier bump since all my costing and supply is US based.
Art wise, my concept was Akira manga meets borderlands with a focus on colourful heroes in a dark world.
There are live play podcast links on the Kickstarter page and if you back at any level there is a 60 page QuickStart which provides everything needed to play.
Cheers!

+Daniel Lewis, should we still expect this to hit the calendar soon? I seem to have gotten roped into backing without a playtest, which is something I’d love to remedy… 🙂

Maybe. I need to read it close enough to see how well it handles players dropping in / out.

Hard to say exactly how it might handle that. The game has a taken out mechanic when people die where they are left in the headspace as an NPC and leave 1 skill for the party to access but that is for character death not player unavailability.
The Headspace tech has no defined spatial limit so for all intents and purposes you could just have someone go elsewhere, there skills would still be accessible as Headspace moves and they would be an NPC the party could talk to at any point in time until they “came back” to the play space.

I was reading about some different cyberpunk games, and came across an idea. I wonder if you could deal with the “missing player” issue by basically saying they’re between bodies, so the NPC is “in storage” until they get a new body?
