Latest Bundle of Holding is a set of indie noir/crime fiction RPGs.
$6 gets you:
The Big Crime
Dirty Secrets
Fastlane: Everything, All the Time
One Last Job
BTA ($13 or so at time of writing) gets you:
A Dirty World
Killshot: The Director’s Cut
Secrets and Lies: Hardboiled Triple Feature
Streets of Bedlam (a Savage Worlds setting)
Death Kisses Coldly (an adventure for The Big Crime)
Yeah, that was a quick purchase for me. But, dude: you’ve played One Last Job. You’re familiar with it.
By the way, has anyone played A Dirty World? I’ve had that for a few years, but haven’t gotten to try it yet.

Ah! Cool.
Ah! Cool.
It wasn’t very much, but I ran a brief session, and the core mechanics are really neat! I love how your stats fluctuate and basically represent your character’s shifting psyche.

Nice! I’m a little skeptical regarding normal ORE games as being probably too complicated for my tastes, but that ADW sounded doable, and that mechanic you’re talking about intrigued me.

Also, the mystery generator is pretty gold.
They actually did change up the mechanics a bit; they don’t use that wonky “the height of the roll is the hit location” thing. They still use height/width, but in a way that makes a fair amount of sense. One of the dimensions (I don’t remember which) is the speed of your action, and the other one is the effectiveness of your action. It works out pretty elegantly, and there’s really no complication on top of that.
