Sweet Beagle of Doom, I love Shane Curruth’s movies.  Primer blew my mind, and I just watched Upstream Color.  I don’t have time to watch many movies, so I’m glad I picked this one.  The experience is what watching one of those bizarre creations in Rousseau’s Locus Solus would be like. Wow.  Wow.  Wow.

  1. I was actually living in Dallas when he was filming Primer. At the time, I was very deeply into the Dallas independent film scene (TI West was doing a lot of work there in those years, too) and I was invited to a showing of a very early cut of it. I remember it being very cool even then.
