Daniel Lewis I really want to have a game designer on the podcast. Is that a thing we can do?

Well, I was trying to post “heavy breathing” with asterisks around it, but I guess G+ just makes the words bold when you do that!
I’d be down to hear y’all talk with game designers. Maybe not even interviewing them, but rather just having them join in on whatever your topic of the week is. Whatevs!

I’m really just coming to grips with how microphones work, but I’m going to say…yes?

Daniel Lewis For designers based somewhere other than Houston, we would need to do some kind of Hangouts/Skype thing. I think that’s what I’m asking: do we (you) possess the know-how for this?

Jason, there are like 5 or 6 RPG designers that live in the Houston area

Kerry Harrison I know of Stewart Wieck and Matt Finch. Who else?
I feel like I asked this question once before, but I can’t find the post now.

Jason Cordova Might require a test run or two, but I’m sure we can figure something out that won’t sound terrible.

Haven’t heard your podcast. Heard OF it, of course… what sort of sit-down with a game designer are you thinking of doing?

I have done a few podcasts and would happily do yours as well Jason.
My design partner Luther and I can also do a joint interview if that serves your needs better.

Mike Mitchell We have a pretty specific format we follow for the show. I’d probably want a game designer guest to be willing to “third chair” for us within that format. Obviously, we’d make time to discuss/plug upcoming projects.
Kevin Nunn Thanks!
I think Dan and I have a lot to think about. Principally, we’d want to make sure our audience would be a good fit for a specific game designer. Grant is an easy sell, because he is well-known within our tiny corner of the hobby. Designers who normally aim their games at the broader, mainstream RPG audience may not find a lot of utility in being on our show, which is a pretty niche one. But, who knows?

I could be available if you think my input would be of interest to your listeners. Our site, http://www.hawgleg.com, might give you more info about Gutshot and what we do.
