I don’t normally shill for OSR stuff (and certainly Zak Smith has a mixed reputation within the roleplaying game community) but A Red & Pleasant Land is an amazing product. It is as fresh and original as anything I have seen in awhile. Check it out!

  1. I think it’s the new template for sourcebooks dedicated to a particular genre/place. It’s a template that would work well for other RPGs, like Dungeon World, which are not singular-iteration rule sets (like say, Mountain Witch or Dogs in the Vineyard.
