I recently posted an online game of Fate for next week (Tuesday). I haven’t got much interest so I thought I would post this prior to reaching out into other channels. Is the lack of interest due to the system (Fate), the genre (Western), the fact it is online (considering how many meatspace games are offered), or am I not reaching the right place to get visibility? I would easily understand all of the above; just want to figure out how best to give back to this group 🙂 I’ve had so many excellent games with the Gauntleteers that I would really like try to do my part. Naturally, living in another state 12-14 hours away cramps my style for normal contributions. #HailSatan

It’s definitely hard for me to commit to an online game when there are already more in person games than I have time to attend.

Frankly, I was sure that was a huge part of the equation. Perhaps I should setup games and simply mention them here in case someone has time/interest in the particular romp in question? Very few groups have such a huge line of games on any given week so this isn’t exactly a terrible problem to have 🙂

I missed your post. I play ESO mostly, however, I would be interested in trying this game.

Anne Warren I’m not sure what ESO is (pardon my ignorance). There is a calendar entry up on the G+ page and you should have been invited previously. I can send another if it would be helpful.

Sean – ESO stands for Elder Scroll Online. It is A MMO (massive multiplayer online game). I saw fate on the steam network a while back and thought it was interesting to see the “book game” playable online , however, I had no one to play with. I checked the calendar and apparently we are not talking about the same thing anyway.

Sean Smith It’s not just your game. I have never been able to get an online game to really take off in the Gauntlet. We had that good run in January/February, but then it just fizzled.
I have to imagine, as previously suggested, it’s because of the already high number of live games. And for several of us, you throw the podcast on top of it, and there just aren’t enough days in the week. Mind you, this is a good problem to have (on our end).
I would post the event somewhere else on G+, but then cross-post here.

Anne Warren Thanks for the clarification.
Jason Cordova It would certainly appear that is the case. I’ll start fishing through other options and see if I can get something going. Atleast it will be there for the Gauntleteers as a fall back option hehe.
