Yesterday we played our first session of Annalise. I love, love, LOVE this game. It is so good. Perhaps a tiny bit more complex than most story games, but the payoff is well worth it.
I’ll have more to share about the game and our specific story once we’re finished, but for now, I want to say thanks to Jessica Scott and Aaron Scott for running the game (we had enough people for two tables). And thanks to Rob Ferguson Steve Mains Ferrell Riley and Angel Ludwig for coming out!
It was a great time!

I think I got a copy of this through a Bundle of Hplding but I haven’t really looked through it. Looks like it needs to get added to the queue though from the sound of it!

Sean Smith When you’re engaging with the game’s mechanics, it feels like they are having a meaningful impact on the story being told, and I like it a lot. This is a very tricky thing that many story games don’t get right, but Annalise does in spades.
