Star Wars: Edge of the Empire was not really my thing. But going by all the smiling faces in these pics, I was definitely in the minority. Oh well – you can’t love everything.

Jesse Smith There were definitely parts I liked about it. I admire, for example, the apparently honest effort to put some of the focus on narrative gameplay. The problem for me is that it was just too crunchy. I felt like the other rules (and those obnoxious dice) were preventing the game from flowing well. Maybe it would be better with more practice.
