So I’m going to be in Austin with my wife while she speaks at a business seminar. Anyone know of some good gaming stores in town I can visit while she’s working?

Well, well, well…you need to visit Dragon’s Lair, which is probably one of the best in the country, never mind Austin. But be careful, Google Maps still has their old address. They just moved to a new space on Anderson Lane.ย

Jason Cordovaย what about Great Hall Games?

Kerry Harrison Great Hall has little to no RPGs (just a few DnD books). They have a nice board game and miniatures selection, though.

Totally in love with Dragon’s Lair and very upset they dont have a Houston location. They have a bigger RPG section than most bookstores sci-fi/fantasy section. Had to make some hard choices today. ๐

Alex Camacho Yeah, it’s an easy place to fall in love with, haha. I go there every two or three weeks, and each time I spend at least an hour in there. It’s where I did much of my gaming, too, when I lived in Austin full-time…I noticed somewhere else you bought Trail of Cthulhu. I have wanted to get that game to the table for ages. Let me know if you ever want to run it.

Yup I grabbed a copy of Trail while I was there Jason Griffiths . I’ve been wanting to play it for a while now and figured I’ll play eventually even if that means running it.
I’d love to run a game of it but that probably won’t be until after new years with the schedule being crazy and all. I’ll give you a heads up when I decide to. ๐
