I ordered the dead-tree Little Fears RPG, and I downloaded the free PDF this morning. First thought: Who the hell doesn’t bookmark a 190+ PDF?

Skimming the rules, this sentence jumped out at me, “Children are much smarter than most people give them credit.”
That includes the children themselves, IME.

It’s surprising the number of publishers who release PDFs and don’t bother to bookmark them.

Agreed, Kerry. It can’t be hard. I manage to do it.

My initial skim of the Little Fears PDF makes me think this is a nifty game. While I’ve not read the rules in detail, I have picked up a few of the basics. I especially like the game’s use of Belief. It’s simple and thematic (even while I have philosophical objections to the idea that belief is opposed by logic and rational cause and effect).
That one risks Belief to help actions succeed, and then one doesn’t lose that Belief is success occurs, is pretty cool.
