I picked up the quickstart, but every time I try to read it, I can’t get past the crazy dice.  I’m not against crazy dice in principle, but without  the actual physical dice in hand, it’s hard for me to invest the energy to read the notation. I’ll be interested to hear other people’s thoughts, though.

  3. Looks like d6s, d8s, and d12s from a quick google image search. The QuickStart includes a conversion table for numerical dice, but a glance through all of the notation showed the icons used to mechanically describe things.

    But I also was distracted by how good Better than Any Man was.
