Jason Cordova Ferrell Riley So, Jason & Ferrell, do you guys have the character playbooks? You may want to look through the characters and pick at least one that you absolutely have to know what happens to them. Grab the one that really grabs you. Have a backup, too, because there are no duplicates. There’s one other player besides you, so that makes 3 players and the MC.

I would like to play the Hocus.

Cool! My friend Steve is tentatively interested in the Brainer or Driver (on first glance at playbooks).

I have actually run a fair amount of AW, and I will tell you the addition of certain playbooks greatly changes the kind of campaign you can run. The Driver and the biker gang leader (whose name I forget), for example, almost demand a game that is on the road, moving from place to place. Whereas the Hardholder and the Hocus, for obvious reasons, need to be confined to a hardhold. It’s just something to keep in mind.

couldn’t the Hocus travel around with her followers in a big freaky bus? Maybe even driven by the Driver? A bus may not be a very sexy vehicle for a Driver. Maybe it’s a rag-tag caravan, like some kind of twisted circus, like from that series Carnivale, and the Hocus is “Management”.

That’s a good idea. We could caravan, so the Driver could still have his cool car.

I’m getting an A-Team vibe here.

Hey there, I’m Steve, the fourth for this peculiar game. I rather like the convoy/rag-tag fugitive fleet/Smokey and the Bandit Meets Road Warrior idea.

Need to look over the book again but the mechanic class sounds fun to go with the driver.
