Hm. No discussion of Comicpalooza? Just went this year for the first time myself, and I loved it!

Same for me as well. Even considering running a few games next year.

I didn’t go as I have a dislike for the con. I’m really looking forward to Space City Con though.

Why the dislike?
And was there in artist alley, had fun and met a good many of the local talent

Had a really good sized Artist Alley. Though they could have benefited more so from a better floor plan

Ferrell Riley I don’t like how they’ve treated various artist, vendor, or gamer friends of mine. Their business practice, if you’re one of the ones paying to be there to sell your stuff, is rather shady. Other than wishing they’d stop the bad stuff, I wish them well.

I was at the last panel. The tell us what you didn’t like panel. Spent most of my time in the gaming area and spoke with a lot of the GMs across the whole weekend, had a three day pass, was told the volunteers got rooms but not so with GM volunteers. I informed the panelists there of the situation and was informed the hotel had run out of rooms. From what I understand Comicpalooza keeps growing significantly so I hope they fix what fans pointed out. Was my first time going and had fun.

I just have an issue going to local cons where I have to pay for parking.

This was the first Con I’ve been to, besides a toy convention in Austin in the 1990’s, so I don’t have anything to compare to. I’d like to go to Space City in August and get a photo with Sylvester McCoy and the TARDIS and play some games. I have to see if Wifey and new baby can handle my absence.
