I largely agree. He interprets Spout Lore differently than I do, but I like his thoughts on the matter.

On a side note, I couldn’t help but notice DW sits atop RPGgeek’s “The Hotness” list (and Grim Portents is on the list, too). Perhaps it’s catching on?

He’s treating it like the declare facts from most versions of FATE since SOTC. Not necessarily a bad thing, but pretty different from the way the rules read.

Well, the distaff cousin thing probably didn’t fit any particular move (I don’t think we rolled anything). I just thought it was cool, and Trey thought it was cool, so it seemed worth doing to me. But I take Kerry’s point–it was like Fate or the Burning Wheel wise moves.
