I know of at least 1 other guy that I can get to play with us on a regular basis on Friday evenings (he works nearby also). As for what to play I’m pretty open to just about anything but Pathfinder/D&D3.5/4E as I just don’t find those systems that interesting. Lately I’ve been playing and running a good bit of Savage Worlds and BareBones Fantasy, but have recently discovered the Ubiquity system and am interested in trying it. Other systems I like are Traveller (any version but 4th), just about any OSR retroclone/pseudoclone, Mutants & Masterminds (2nd or 3rd), GURPS, EABA, Modern20, Chronica Feudalis, HackMaster 5e, Far Trek – but I’m always willing to try something new.

Well, that depends on if I’m running. I’m crunched for time, so work intensive systems (like most of the d20 System) would bug me.

Mark: is this the thread you meant? If so, I can do every other Friday. I am very specifically interested in playing or running low-prep games. Dungeon World is at the top of my list at the moment.

I think we should do it. Perhaps we could all meet on a Google Hangout for a little bit, just to break the ice. Hell, we could even play DW over Hangouts. Otherwise, I’m willing to travel anywhere for a game.

I live near Westheimer, so the conference room would work out very well for me. The first Friday I can be available is 01.25.13. I am also available other days of the week. I basically make my own hours at work, so I’m very, very flexible. I’m just anxious to be part of a good group here in town!
