I’m listening to the earlier Gauntlet podcasts having hopped on around the time I exited my life as a hermit because of launching the Kickstarter. I really, really love every episode. Right now, I’m on the interview with Paul Czege now–what a passionate and positive, intelligent interview. I loved both the questions by Jason as well as the great answers given by Paul. I’m feeling really inspired to challenge myself a bit more on my next project and redefine the design goal a bit more for it.

I see a bunch more interviews too, excited!

Just putting out some feelers for an idea I had lately that hopefully, will appeal to some people in the community!

Just putting out some feelers for an idea I had lately that hopefully, will appeal to some people in the community! I’ve already begun writing up some preliminary text for the game that will come after The Veil (a cyberpunk PbTA hack that can be found more in detail here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/samjokopublishing/the-veil-cyberpunk-rpg and the community page: https://plus.google.com/communities/111282641132726730775) annnnd my schedule opens up dramatically come September.

So, what I was hoping to do is: run a campaign, or participate in one as a player — either are completely fine with me — and have that migrate into what I’ve got planned next. The Veil was actually just the first step in an overall design goal I have, which is fairly ambitious and likely to be 2-3 more years until fully realized. The Veil is actually meant to be the first cog in a modular and stand alone design goal. So what I need are some people who like The Veil and want to play, but also willing to playtest what comes after as well!

To sum up, what I’m wondering is this: If anyone is interested in trying out The Veil, and if so after a session or two, moving said game into a campaign — which would then naturally progress into the next game I’m working on now.
