Anyone else play games by jim pinto? While he worked for a long time at Alderac and other publishers, recently his stuff has been really interesting and imo solid indy games. His Protocol GM-less games are really cool.

Here’s a new KS for a new suite of GM-less games he’s working on. Or rather I should say – worked on. Check out the Risks section of the KS.

“These games are done and ready to print. As soon as the project ends, I tell the printer to make your books and send them off. PDFs go out instantly.”

(jim’s a personal friend, but he’s also a good and under-sung designer. He doesn’t do self-promotion well; but he does create good games)

Has anyone ever played the same “story” with the same group but with different rules sets?

For instance, one example in podcast was Kagematsu. What if a group played that “story” but with GURPS, then D20, then Fate, then pPbtA, then White Wolf “Storyteller” system. And then finish off with the actual game of Kagematsu. I wonder what the impressions of the players would be.
