For our first session of finally playing something besides D&D, I brought The Final Girl to the table. The setting was Canyon City, a small settlement in the wild west. In the end, Billy the actual kid faced off against the ghost chieftain of a long lost tribe, and survived. The ghost was put to rest. For now, at least.

I was reading articles in Feedly (rss feed reader) this morning, when I realized: I don’t follow any tabletop roleplaying game blogs. I need to fix this. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Picked up Call of Catthulhu from Dragon’s Lair today. Looks fun/funny. Anyone played it before?

Also, Jason Cordova, I know you use a few alternate playbooks for the DW games you run; the wizard without vancian magic comes to mind. Where can I find those?

Not an official Gauntlet game night, but I wanted to share.

Not an official Gauntlet game night, but I wanted to share. Nikki and I had our first game night since leaving Houston. We played Fiasco, which we’d never played before. It went pretty well! Somehow, it ended up mostly being set in a High School. It’s weird how often that happens. (We also bought Mars Colony and Dungeon World; oh, the fun we will have.)

We miss everyone!

Hi, everyone.

Hi, everyone.

Hi, everyone. I very recently moved to the Houston area, and was even more recently pointed to this G+ community. I’m hoping to find some people to play with, and am open to playing anything.

I was introduced to tabletop roleplaying games in 2012, with Pathfinder. Since then, i’ve also played a little D&D Next and Star Wars: Edge of the Empire. Games I haven’t played, but whose core rulebooks I have read: Fate Core, Numenera, 13th Age, Dungeon World, and D&D B/X.

Looking forward to talking to you all.
