   I think the quickest summary is that whenever a Ranger has a pigeon animal companion… Crazy things happen.

9. Michael X. Heiligenstein​ ‘s character in David LaFreniere ‘s​ DW game is a ranger named Desmond. His animal companion is a pigeon called Mort.

   Michael plays both of these really well. Mort gets just the right amount of spotlight each game and is a comic relief without ever falling down the gonzo path.

   In the last game, the president of the city died. He was a demon in giant crow form.

   Mort probably thinks this is a good time for him to step up… 😆
