For our first session of finally playing something besides D&D, I brought The Final Girl to the table.

For our first session of finally playing something besides D&D, I brought The Final Girl to the table. The setting was Canyon City, a small settlement in the wild west. In the end, Billy the actual kid faced off against the ghost chieftain of a long lost tribe, and survived. The ghost was put to rest. For now, at least.

  1. They really liked it. Each of them went all out getting into the characters and coming up with creepy ways for the ghost to strike. By the end of the night, everyone was already excitedly talking about ideas for next time we play the game.

They’re all ready and eager to play 44 next Monday, and InSpectres the Monday after that. Followed by Funnel World and a few follow up sessions of Dungeon World.

I’ve made converts of them all. Even our diehard Pathfinder fan. It was a great night.
