We have a Bonus Episode for this week’s edition of The Gauntlet Podcast. In this one, a number of us discuss our very first roleplaying game experiences. It’s a pretty terrific episode; lots of fun. I had a smile on my face pretty much the whole time I was listening to it.

– The Gauntlet is a dirty secret that people don’t tell their parents about
– I’m not the only former-child LARPer in the Gauntlet, [X-Men all the way…never got to be Storm 🙁 ]
– Doyle Tavener should record audio for homoerotic fiction
– Black Magic cards are more evil than the other colors
– Ferrell Riley really likes us, which is good because we really like him too
– “Older” kids are gateway geeks
– Apparently I (partially) owe my marriage to the Gauntlet

Kristen D , now that I think about it, I totally larped on the playground at recess when I was young. In an rpg cargo cult sort of fashion, we even used to create character sheets with stats and the like on them; we just sort of ignored the sheets from there. (Also, I distinctly remember getting to be Colossus.)
