We had a terrific session of Dungeon World for Friday’s Anthology game. All kinds of action-packed goodness took place, but here are some highlights:
-The Blue Brotherhood characters were joined by three new adventurers: an elven arcane duelist, a trouble-making halfling thief (is there any other kind?) and a ranger whose animal companion is a swarm of bees.
-A ghost leads the ranger away on a mini-quest to find and bury her remains. The ranger accidentally shatters the skull of the remains, filling the ghost with anger and a desire for vengeance.
-Our elven initiate singlehandedly dispatches a pack of ten ghouls by leading them into an acid trap.
-The party defeats a manticore and makes off with the magic mirror they came to find. The halfling thief burns the manticore’s baby alive.
-The party awakens a 30 foot tall abomination made of hundreds of human bodies. It proceeds to destroy the keep.
-During a desperate attempt to escape the Keep, the party is chased down by a bullette that had been roaming the halls. The elven initiate sacrifices himself so the party can escape..
