Hi, everyone. I very recently moved to the Houston area, and was even more recently pointed to this G+ community. I’m hoping to find some people to play with, and am open to playing anything.

I was introduced to tabletop roleplaying games in 2012, with Pathfinder. Since then, i’ve also played a little D&D Next and Star Wars: Edge of the Empire. Games I haven’t played, but whose core rulebooks I have read: Fate Core, Numenera, 13th Age, Dungeon World, and D&D B/X.

Welcome aboard Jacob.  There’s usually a constant schedule of games, the best ways to jump in I think would be either to head to Jax’s grill for Wednesday night gaming, or watch for either the Anthology Friday or Storygame Sunday groups.  There’s also many other hosts, so pick a date and RSVP.  We’re a pretty welcoming group.

  3. Jacob Densford Welcome! I’ll second what Ferrell Riley said. We have three public events per week (Wednesday One-Shots, The Friday Anthology, and Story Game Sunday). Experience with a system is never required for the public events.

    There are also a number of closed groups which occasionally accept new members. 

    I’m getting ready to post a summary of events for February, since some people have trouble getting the invites over G+. 

    We’re a very friendly bunch (and some of us are downright charming).

  9. I host a game every other Saturday (or thereabouts) at my host. In theory, we’re doing a Stars Without Number campaign, but people keep not showing up. I wonder if it’s me? 🙂

  11. I would play, Mark, but I already play on Saturday afternoon (on G+) and run on Saturday and Sunday (live game and G+ game ). It’s the same reason you don’t see me at many Gauntlet events.

  17. we are out by Kingwood and may play some Gamma World, Boot Hill, Paranoia, Judge Dredd, In Nomine, Fireborn, Galaxy Prime, superheroes (various systems), historical/pulp games, etc, etc. Just depends on what the group wants and who wants to run.
