So our Dungeon World game got cancelled last minute and we decided to give The Quiet Year a go this past Sunday. Fun game! I think we might have enjoyed it more with 1-2 more players.  Wolves of the North: The Quiet Year (Part 1/2)

  1. I really enjoyed The Quiet Year. When we played it, we had one player (who shall remain unnamed) who refused to actually follow the rules by not speaking out of turn, but it was good fun nonetheless. I think we’re playing it again in January or February.

  3. That’s a bummer. The lack of in-game chatter is interesting. It’s probably not the most amusing game to spectate because of the limit on talking but it really makes sense in the spirit of what the game is trying to accomplish.

  5. Yes, we’d like to play it again without this particular fellow who insisted on not following the rules. We don’t feel like we got the full effect the first time.
